From humble beginnings to becoming one of New England’s largest dental practices, Stillwater Dental Associates has been serving the Bangor community since 1975. Founded by Dr. Ronald W. Bailey, our practice started with just two treatment rooms and a small, dedicated team. Over the decades, we’ve grown to accommodate 10 comfortable treatment rooms, over 20 skilled team members, and a patient base of more than 4,000 active patients.

Dr. Ronald Bailey received his DMD degree from Tufts University, Boston in 1975 & is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Association (ADA), Maine Dental Association (MDA), and the Penobscot Valley Dental Society (PVDS). With over 40 years of serving Maine families, he specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry and has received advanced training in dental implants, Invisalign & Sure Smile clear aligners, Cerec crowns, and endodontics.
Born and raised in the Bangor, Maine area, Dr. Bailey is an avid fan of outdoor recreational activities and also enjoys traveling with his wife, Gayle, and spending time with their 5 grandchildren. Two of his adult sons, Ryan & Patrick, reside in Arizona, where they work in real estate, and his third son, Dr. Eron Aldridge, is a practicing oral surgeon in the Bangor area.
According to Dr. Bailey, the mission of Stillwater Dental Associates is to provide excellence in both dentistry and customer service in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment.
Dr. Ford provides treatment in all areas of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Some of his specialties include dentures, crown & bridge, endodontics (root canal therapy), and extractions, to name a few. While in Boston, Dr. Ford met his wife, Danielle, who is an elementary school special education teacher. They married in 2019 and have a beautiful daughter and a new baby boy. During his leisure time, Dr. Ford and his family enjoy exploring Acadia National Park, hiking, and walks with their Pomeranian-Yorkie, Winston. Other interests include watching football (an avid Dallas Cowboys fan since childhood) and learning about history. Dr. Ford is a caring and compassionate dentist who is a great listener and enjoys collaborating with patients to meet their dental healthcare needs.
